Our Story
A neighbourhood coffee house built around coffee, books, and quiet hours.

The Idea
Comfortable, by design.
Tador Coffee began with a simple question: where do you go in Jakarta when you actually want to slow down? Not a chain, not a hotel lobby — somewhere with the feel of a friend's living room, but with proper coffee and a kitchen that knows what it's doing.
We opened in East Pejaten, in a quiet pocket of Pasar Minggu, with wooden benches, open ceilings, hanging plants, and music that doesn't compete with your thoughts. Students arrived with laptops. Neighbours dropped in for a cappuccino. Readers found a corner and stayed.
Five years and 280+ reviews later, that's still the brief: a place to spend your day.

Lubukata Bookshop
A café with a bookshop attached.
Tucked beside the seating area is Lubukata — a small independent bookshop and reading library that lives inside Tador. Browse a title between meetings, settle in with a coffee, or borrow something from the shelf while you work.
It's why so many regulars describe Tador as one of the best places in South Jakarta to read.
